Our Core Pillars

Our program operates on two fundamental aspects to maximize community impact:

1. Empowering Underprivileged Youth: Supporting underprivileged students with scholarships, mentoring, and academic tutoring to bridge the gap to higher education.

2. Engaging the Community: Supporting privileged youth within the community by extending financial aid and mentorship to help them run impactful, community-centric initiatives.

Our commitment goes beyond financial assistance; we understand that guidance is equally crucial. To this end, ACT Volunteers passionately run a tutoring program, ensuring that our sponsored students receive the academic support they need to excel in their studies. Simultaneously, our mentorship empowers youth-led civic projects, helping students launch and sustain vital community initiatives such as EmerReady.org, GanitUtsav, Financial Literacy workshops, and the APR Run fundraising events.

In the year 2025, we continued our mission by providing scholarships to a remarkable group of 90 students. Among them, 19 are pursuing degrees in fields as demanding as engineering and medicine, exemplifying their dedication to making a difference in the world through education. Several of these students have been supported since 6th grade—spanning 10+ years of support. These scholarships not only alleviate the financial burden on these deserving students but also empower them to reach their aspirations, fostering a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
